Halloween Bath Time

During the warmer months I'm definitely a shower over baths type girl, however as soon as the winter winter creeps up on us I instantly crave baths. I find them so comforting, relaxing and uplifting when it's cold, rainy and dark outside. My go-to bath products are always Lush, I love to use their bubble bars, bath bombs, bath melts, everything is amazing and there's so much choice...I'm also a huge fan of the brand itself and respect them massively for the work they do trying to fight animal testing.
Lush are always bringing out limited edition products to fit the season, and I got my hands on the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar!

The Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar (£3.65) is one of my new favourites. I'm quite fussy with product scents, but this is a winner with aromas of grapefruit, lime and juniperberry oil it's energising, soothing, refreshing and comforting. I crumbled half the bar under the tap as I ran my bath which resulted in the most amazing, long-lasting bubbles and it also turned the water a bright orange which made me feel very much in the Halloween spirit! When I stepped into the bath I was instantly hit with how soft the water felt, and although the softness wasn't quite as amazing as previous bubble bars I've used I still felt like I was in some sort of luxury bath. The scents that surrounded me were zesty, fruity and slightly woody which is such a unique and delicious combination.
Admittedly I'm always slightly afraid of any bath product that's glittery, I have the fear it'll make me look like a member of the Cullen family from Twilight, but thankfully I didn't detect any shimmer on my skin or in the bath afterwards.

The Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar is a wonderful bath product to use in the crossover between Autumn and Winter, it's comforting, sweet and quite sensual. I'd highly recommend giving it a try before it's gone!

  2. Recently made a few Lush purchases and I was put off this product as I thought it would be too shimmery and cover my bath in glitter..However I'm gutted I didn't buy it as it sounds beautiful
