Autumn is my favourite season. I love the crisp, fresh air, the cold but not unbearably freezing weather, the leaves turning beautiful browns and reds, conkers, Autumn fashion and of course Autumn cosmetics.
As soon as the season comes around I get so excited to whip out the berry lipsticks, nail varnish and when I'm feel adventurous the berry toned eyeshadows (think MAC Cranberry....*swoon*).
Berry lipsticks are my favourite. I'm a huge lover of a smokey eye and nude lip, but something about a berry toned lips makes me so happy. I instantly feel put together, confident and a lot more seasonal. I have a few lipsticks in this category, but I've whittled it down to 1 high end and 1 drugstore favourite.
Kate Moss for Rimmel in 107 is a blogger favourite, you've all heard of it and the vast majority of you probably own it. Rimmel 107 (I wish they'd given it a proper name), is a deep wine shade that's the perfect mixture of being slightly vampy but also having quite a pink undertone to it, so it still looks pretty and girly. The lipstick is a matte finish, and it's incredibly long lasting! I often find lipstick just disappears whenever I eat or drink, but 107 stays put.....winner!
My second favourite is the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturising Lip Colour Balm (that's a name and a half) in Grandest Grape. This is my absolute go to when it comes to Autumn lip colours. The shade is a beautifully deep purple/plum colour, which suits my skin-tone perfectly. It comes from the Clinique moisturising balm range, which makes it incredibly moisturising so it's even more perfect from Autumn/Winter!
Reds and berry tones have always been my favourite nail colour, I think everything else makes my skin look washed out and dull. My go-to red is Maybelline Color Show in Downtown Red, it's just the perfect winter red for me. It's a deep shade, with more brown undertones than pink and it can be layered up well to create an even darker colour. I'm hugely fussy when it comes to nail polish, but this bargain buy ticks more or less all the boxes for me!
My go-to berry nail varnish is Bahama Mama by Essie. Essie nail polish is definitely more of a splurge, but they're worth every penny for their amazing colour payoff, ease of application and super fast drying time. Bahama Mama is a popular shade from the brand, and one I wore non-stop last Winter. It's a deep plum/berry shade, with purple tones and a glossy finish, it's almost like a nail varnish version of the Clinique chubby stick I spoke about earlier actually! It's a colour that would suit all skin tones, and I think particularly compliments those with fair skin.
Those are my must have berry lip colours and nail polishes from Autumn!
If you're a fan of berry or plum tones then these products are definitely worth checking out, I promise you won't be disappointed!

I love all things berry-toned at this time of year! Rimmel's 107 is such a classic lipstick and I need to get my hands on Essie's Bahama Mama as it's been on my wishlist for too long. Love the look of the Chubby Stick too. For a berry-toned eye I've been opting for Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate its such a beautiful shade :) x
