A Passion For Palettes

Eyeshadow palettes are most probably the products I yearn for the most. I so often will see a new eyeshadow palette release and go all lovey dovey eyed over the sleek, glamorous packaging, the array of beautiful colours, the shimmer, the intense mattes.....I just get drawn in!
I thought I'd share the top 3 in my current wish list.

1. MAC Warm Neutrals Palette (£65). As a beauty blogger I feel ashamed to admit that I don't own any MAC eyeshadow. I know I should, considering everyone says they're the best, and the brand sell every colour, shade and finish imaginable but to buy them individually costs you a tenner so to make a full palette it would mean spending a crazy £150!  So, although £65 sounds quite extortionate it's a bargain, at almost £100 cheaper than filling your own palette! Yes, you don't get to build your own, but the colours in the warm neutrals are right up my street. They're all extremely wearable, beautiful shades.

2.  MAC Amber Times Nine (£30). Can you tell I really want to try MAC eyeshadows? This one is a lot more affordable, at £30 for 9 eyeshadows and contains similar colours to the warm neutrals palette. The shadows are all gorgeous neutral shades, including matte, satin and frost textures. It's a beauty, and a lot more affordable. I may have to treat myself.

3. Stila Soul Palette (£30). The best deal at £30 for 12 shadows, this palette is stunning. All the shades are very neutral but pretty, with brown and nude tones and both shimmer and matte finishes. The packaging is another thing that attracts me to this palette, as it looks so elegant and expensive. I've owned one Stila eyeshadow palette before (In The Light) and I've used it to death; the quality and pigmentation is wonderful!

I think we've all learnt two things from this post, 1. I have expensive taste and 2. I definitely am a fan of browns and neutral eyeshadows.
