Dream! Dream! And Then Go For It!

I heard someone say the other day that they wanted to be a TV presenter, I said that was great and asked how they were going to go about it, they replied "I'm not, my parents wont let me, they said it's a waste of time and I'll never achieve it". This made me very angry, so I have decided to write a blog post about it.

We all have dreams, whether they're fairly small, easy to achieve dreams or big dreams that you need to work your butt off to achieve, we all have them and no-one should be allowed to tell you that you can't do them.
What would happen if we all thought like that? What would happen if everyone with a big dream thought "no, I can't do that, it will never happen so I wont bother"? I'll tell you, they'd be no TV, they'd be no internet, they'd be no shops, they'd be no music, they'd be no films. We'd have no actors or actresses, we'd have no writers, we'd have no bands or singers. Life would be dull.

There's always a chance your dream could be a reality, whether it's a small chance or a massive chance you need to go for it! Just think, that small chance of your dreams coming true is a little bit of hope, and if there is that hope and that chance then you CAN make it a reality, work hard, don't give up and don't let people tell you that you can't do something...they're probably only saying that because either they're jealous you're going for something, or they're sour because they never went for their dreams.

Okay, so maybe you fail, maybe you don't achieve your dream, but it's not the end of the world. And wouldn't you rather have tried and done all you could rather than never even attempted it and in years to come regretted it and constantly thought "what if?".  I know which I would prefer. Never give up on a dream, don't ever think "It'll take too long to achieve" because that time will pass anyway. Start now, otherwise in a years time you'll think "I wish I had started then instead of waiting".
The likelihood is, even if you don't achieve what you were aiming to in the quest to do so, you'll have had fun trying, you'll have gained important skills, made new friends and maybe even found something that would make you even happier than your original dream.

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
That makes you think about what you want, what you would like to achieve. So go for those things!
Even if just one comes true, that could be the one to change your life for the better and make you whole.

I hope you all go for you dreams.
DREAM BIG.

Things I Want To Do Before I'm 30

HELLO! I haven't blogged in so long!
Unfortunately my laptop had been broken so I was unable to blog and then I kind of forgot about it, but oh how I've missed blogging.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am BACK and that I have a YouTube channel now if you'd like to check it out here is the link.

I recently did a video about Things I Want To Do Before I'm 30 which you can watch here, and I thought I would also do a blogpost about it.

1. Travelling, there are so many places I want to go! I want to ride camels in Egypt to the pyramids, I want to go on safari in South Africa, I want to see the Northern Lights, road trip America - New York has to be top of the list, I'd love to spend New Years Eve in Times Square, I want to go to Australia and New Zealand, walk The Great Wall Of China and so many more places!
2. Swim with dolphins, this is something I have wanted to do for so long now. It just looks amazing, dolphins seem like such lovely, intelligent animals and they always look like
they're having the best time when I see them swimming with people. I will do it one day!

3. Run Race for Life, this is a fund-raising event just for women to do in aid of Cancer Research UK, you can run, walk or jog the 5-Kilometre course and you get sponsored for doing so. I'd love to do this with a group of friends one year, it looks like fun and obviously it's for a brilliant cause.
4. Break a world record, I don't really care what, I just want to break one! Then I can get a certificate and be able to say I am the best at something and no-one has beaten me.
5. Attend the Olympics, I am so gutted that I didn't get tickets to any events when the Olympics were in London in 2012, I got so into it, the atmosphere was amazing and seeing the games in my country - 50 minutes away from me - was just amazing. Nothing will beat that, but I'd still love to see the games.
6. Climb a mountain, I don't have a preference as to which one, I'd just like to climb one. I imagine the feeling when you get to the top of it is phenomenal.
7. Go to a big music festival, I have been to a local smaller festival before but I would love to go to V Fest or Glastonbury next year. I'm a massive fan of live music, so a festival would be a dream to go to.

8. Go horseriding along a beach, I used to do horseriding when I was younger and I loved it, I've seen people horseriding along a beach before and it looks incredible! The horses look like they're having the best time and it looks like so much fun, it's something I have always wanted to do.
9. Learn to drive, I have had a few lessons so far but I am no where near ready to take my test. I hate having to rely on lifts, or public transport all the time.
10. Be happy and successful, did that sound cheesy? Yep? Thought so. But by the time I am 30 I don't want to be unhappy or unsuccessful, whatever I end up doing, hopefully I won't be.

What would you like to achieve before you get to a certain age?
